1980s Dancong

I must preface this description by admitting that I did repurchase some of this after the oolong group buy and typically I do not offer tea in group buys to others because I try to make them very special. I do feel a certain way about this... trust me...

This 1980s dancong is roasted and provides a unique session. This was a reminder to me that sometimes older doesn't mean better and if you think about a dancong, depending on the type, the sharp sweetness and floral notes for myself are what make them shine. This is a different type of brew, it took me a little bit of playing around with in two different vessels but it was relaxing each time in a way that some older teas can be.

I still have a lot to learn with processing of tea in the past to understand how this would have been done then versus now and how it has been sitting around for years without being sold. The world of tea has many areas for me to expand my knowledge on, but for now let's enjoy something different that I didn't think I would have available to everyone :)
