Mountain-Grown Yame Sakura Leaf Japanese Black Tea is a very strong and unique profile all around.
It's almost like having flowers that are fermented if they were spicey and minty- to me at least, one of the most complex teas I end to drink and still just enjoy without attempting to understand.
2026 Private Order: As the time came around for spring, I knew I needed more of this so I put in an order to get some of it made with Chiyonoen Tea Farm. This time around, rather than it being mostly black tea leaf with some sakura leaf it is now a very distinct blended tea as the picture shows. If you have bought this from me or direct over the past few years the look is different but the integrity of the experience/flavor is there so I'm quite glad to have it back in the rotation!
