One of the few times I can say I feel as if I am drinking some pure and true to what it ought to be. Drank this a few times when it came in and each time I took it slower than normal not because of price or because I wanted to, but simply this tea caused me to slow down the way cigars did in the past. This is something to expect to take slow and enjoy the feeling from the lips throughout the journey of the throat.

"This tea is meticulously crafted from ancient-tree spring tea harvested in the Wangong tea region of Yunnan. Located within the state-owned forest zone, this area is part of the Yiwu (Mansa) region—one of the "Six Great Ancient Tea Mountains." The Wangong region is defined by the Wangong River (and can be further subdivided into specific zones such as Bohetang, Baichayuan, and Wangong proper based on altitude). All tea gardens here are tended by the residents of Dingjiazhai Village; the leaves are processed in the village and collectively classified as "Wangong Tea." Locals also refer to the Bohetang area as "Maguaitang."

This tea offers a remarkably smooth mouthfeel and a profound "wild mountain" character. It is harvested using a standard "one bud, three leaves with long stems" method. After sun-drying, the leaves display a lustrous grey-green hue with undertones of deep ink-green; the spent leaves are dark, long, robust, and thick. The liquor is clear and bright, delivering a sweet, rich, and lingering flavor profile."
