A little leather/barnyard funkiness in early steeps with the best sort of decaying leaf aroma. Astringency can be a lot if mindless on timing of middle steeps but nice camphor with it if brewing thoughtfully. Light sweetness and mouth coating in later steeps. Fantastic value

Interesting tea. It’s taken me a few sessions to appreciate it. Grandpa style coaxed some sweetness out of it I hadn’t noticed before.
