Buttery mouthfeel with the faintest fruity essence, however on a mild level. Even the qi itself is pretty mellow and zen. There's a faint sour tartness on the third steep that develops into a smoked note further down the line and picks up a bit of a meatiness too it--hard to describe. It wasn't my favorite, but that's more on my flavor preferences than the actual tea itself being bad. If you like lao ban zhang or smoked meaty teas this is definitely for you.
