This sampler provides an example of three different raw puerh that are younger.
1. 25g 2020 Jinggu. This is the most basic of them all with a very cheap young leaf that was processed in a way to carry the sweetness and slight floral note forward with minimal bitterness. Easy to appeal with the ability to use lower temp water to make it even easier on the tongue or stomach if need be.
2. 20g 2015 Lincang. While this has a few years on it, Lincang is a very rough area normally with the way its leaf brews. This sheng its first year would of been extremally astringent but at this point it still has many attributes to it that would qualify it as young compared to many other areas/regions at this timeframe depending on storage type. Being that this is Kunming stored it is on the dry spectrum and packs a punch.
3. 25g 2018 Bulang from Huang Chen Hao. This should be the star of the three, but if its not you are in luck because its the most expensive. It was produced for a company in Malaysia: Huang Chen Hao. The thickness that this has for the quality of the leaf and not just Bulang is wonderful.
