This is one of the best finds ever for me. Typically chongshicha is made with low grade tea like the unprocessed leaf slated to be liubao or huangpian.
This however, is old tree tea leaf from Yunnan that was met with insects to process resulting in something quite addicting.
Not only is it something I never thought of, it's a fan favorite when people come over.
This is not 'aged' but it's also not 'fresh'. Unsure of the exact time frame, but I'd say within the last few years because it has a lot of notes that I seek after in boutique puerh around 10-12 years but I know that chongshicha changes the end product in ways that I haven't fully looked into or understood : )
1g-2g is enough for a session, but I'm sure everyone will be playing around with this in time.

This stuff is incredible, if you can get over the idea of poop tea. It smells like lychee and flat coca cola, and the taste changes every steep, starting from young sheng to ending with a weird (but yummy) root beer, malty and creamy floral lychee juice flavor. Long lingering mouthfeel, and intense mindblowing qi. Don't sleep on this one!
